Do People Really Digg These Digg Ads
Dec 8th, 2009 by seanh420
Do people really digg these digg ads? Seriously, I saw this yesterday and it made me wonder if the number of diggs next to a digg ad are made up. I saw a digg ad claiming to tell people "How to Make Your PC as Fast as the Day You Bought It." I clicked the ad out of curiosity and saw a short ill-written article that claims that "Registry errors" are "the most common problem." Then when you click to "Learn More," you are brought to an ad for Sammsoft Advanced Registry Optimizer(ARO). Wait a second, I thought registry optimizers were a myth? Regardless of the truth, the article does not actually tell people how to make their computer run like new, but yet it has 542 diggs? Are you serious? I wrote an extensive article on making your computer run faster and documented it to the T and I only got 15 diggs. So what is really going on here? Are people really clicking these digg ads? or did I just use a bad set of keywords in my post? This really pisses me off.
